This class is based on classical yoga techniques focused on breathing exercises to handle and reduce stress, anxiety and depression. The classes will help you get equipped with tools to minimize work related fatigue and burn-out. Along with breath work, this class offers daily practice of guided breath to put you on the path to a healthy body and mind. Designed to increase energy levels this class will focus on warming up with traditional yoga sun salutations. Sun salutations have been used throughout history to warm up the body and provide a complete workout in a beautifully sequenced set of postures. This class will provide you with a instant power and energy boost to keep you going for the rest of the day.

What you will need: Yoga Mat, Water & Towel.

Chair Boost

Spending more than 40 hours a week in a chair, in front of a desk takes a toll on your posture and the alignment of your spine. Chair Yoga modifies traditional yoga poses so they can be done while seated. Many of the basic body mechanics from the individual postures are retained, despite the stance of the practitioner. Seated on chairs, students will be guided through versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends and mild backbends. In addition to a good stretch you will also enjoy the other health benefits of yoga including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduced stress, better sleep and an overall sense of well-being.

Relax & Rejuvenate

Relax & Rejuvenate is a form of restorative yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The use of props makes it easier to maintain your balance while stimulating and relaxing your body. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial to the entire body, others target specific parts of the body such as the heart or lungs. This class provides healing for the body and the mind. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. A meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy a stress-free sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity.

Active Yoga

Yoga is a posture practice that brings awareness to the body, breath, and mind. It is designed to affect each person physically, emotionally and mentally while also cultivating strength, stability, balance and flexibility. Our certified yoga instructors offer several types of yoga practice and guided instruction for mindfulness and concentration.

Active Flow

Active Flow Yoga is focused on “breath-synchronized movement”. This class will offer you a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. These movements are smooth and flowing, almost dance-like and are designed for your body to flow through them. This is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where you will move fluidly from one pose to the next while connecting your breath to the movement. Active Flow incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.
