High Tempo Fitness Classes

Sculpting

This targeted toning session will focus on developing strength and shedding fat in key targeted areas such as your core, thighs and glutes. This class will help you to build muscle in key areas while increasing your resting metabolism, helping you to burn more total calories and fat when your body is at rest. This approach has been found to be a more long-term solution to losing weight and maintaining your weight loss.

What you’ll need: Light weights (5-10lbs), water, towel.

Cycling

Our indoor cycling class will create an energized atmosphere in your home or office as our instructor guides you through a warm-up, various tempos of cycling (up and down hill) and a cool-down. Using your own stationary weighted, flywheel bike allows you to ultimately control your own level of intensity and exertion. This class will help you build muscle tone, burn calories and increase cardio endurance. Cycling has been shown to be a great stress reliever for those who prefer to control their own tempo with a motivated instructor, guided class and varying intensity levels. Cycling has a low impact on your knees and joints and can be a great option for those with arthritis or similar health concerns.

A weighted, flywheel indoor bike with the ability to change the resistance/tension, water, towel.

Bootcamp

Fitness boot camp is a style of fitness that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. This class is designed to push you harder and further than you might normally push yourself and incorporates some of the exercises and style to mimic a military boot camp. Exercises include lunges, squats, push-ups, interval training and stretching. Our certified instructor will guide you through this class designed to reduce stress with focused encouragement and varied intensity taking your fitness experience to new heights.

What you will need: Light weights (2-10lbs), towel and water.

Kickboxing

Cardio kickboxing is inspired by the martial art of kickboxing but also incorporates aerobics, mixed martial arts and boxing. Our cardio kickboxing is an intense, total body workout that can improve strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and aerobic fitness. Although your punches, kicks and “strikes” will be directed into the air instead of at a live opponent, this class is mentally stimulating, an empowering confidence builder and a high calorie burner.

Strength Training

Strength Training is a calisthenics class uses your body weight instead of equipment to help build strength, muscle mass, burn fat & increase your flexibility. The workout incorporates a mix of squats, lunges, push-ups and other rhythmic, repetitive movements. Calisthenics is a natural way of making use of your body for fitness benefits while relieving stress, improving your state of mind and helping to build confidence and individual appreciation for your own body and the results you achieve.

Kettlebell

Kettlebell exercises build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength. The basic movements engage the entire body at once in a way that mimics real world activities. Unlike the exercises with dumbbells or barbells, kettlebell exercises often involve large numbers of repetitions. Kettlebell exercises are in their nature holistic; therefore they work several muscles simultaneously and may be repeated continuously for several minutes or with short breaks. Kettlebell training has grown in popularity because it
allows you to increase your aerobic and strength capacity as well as muscle endurance, flexibility, coordination and balance. Additionally, kettlebell workouts focus on matching your movement with your breath which has been scientifically shown to relieve stress from both your body and mind.

What you will need: Minimum of 20lbs Kettlebell – recommended for men, Minimum of 10lbs Kettlebell recommended for women, water, towel.
